Isn’t that just sexual harassment towards men? We don’t rob people then give them back their things to raise awareness about robbery.

    True. The difference is that the men getting catcalled have no clear ties to the men who catcall the women, except that they’re also men. I have a tough time seeing how this gets the point across

      If I had an "atheist card" I'm sure somebody would demand I turn it in for quoting C. S. Lewis, but the following seems relevant. Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. This is the tyranny of angels -- or at least the tyranny of those who believe themselves on the side of the angels.
