On Linux the widgets are drawn by GTK and/or Qt, not Wayland. Also, the problem, I guess, is not just drawing (which could be done securely in a frame-buffer),

On Linux the widgets are drawn by GTK and/or Qt, not Wayland.
Also, the problem, I guess, is not just drawing (which could be done securely in a frame-buffer), but that you have to receive the events.
