India needs two decades of such high growth to catch up to today's China/US. It's a long road but certainly possible. And then they also need to ensure development actually lifts everyone and not the elite few which has historically been a problem due to the country's caste system. Also given India has missed the manufacturing train, it's not going to be easy giving jobs to the mind boggling 1 billion people workforce.
