- Sebb767 4y agoI think you're actually onto something. Parents were (and are) far more lenient when they are not permanently aware of the potential danger their kids are in and are not used to having them reachable 24/7.
- ethbr0 4y agoIt's not just parents, but parents' expectations of other parents. When constantly having your kid reachable was impossible, no one judged parents for not doing it. Now? All the judging.
