- VoidWhisperer 4y agoWhat will stop this from going the way of Vanced? (Being forced to shut down via legal threats from google)
- tintedfireglass 4y agoThere is no copyright infringement of Google's intellectual property here unlike vanced.
- ZephyrOhm 4y agoVanced has shutdown? Why am I still receiving updates? Or was this shutdown in the last few weeks?
- seanw444 4y agoWas probably like two months ago that it was announced. They said that the current versions should continue to work until Google changes their APIs so much that they break.
- bozhark 4y agoFirefox refuses to load
- ycuser2 4y agoSame, I get a security error on mobile.
- insomniacity 4y agoBad Luck Brian - site gets posted to HN, TLS cert expires 5 hours later.
- sphars 4y agoLooks like it's an open source desktop app for viewing YouTube. The link from OP has a bad cert. Here's the GitHub: https://github.com/FreeTubeApp/FreeTube https://github.com/FreeTubeApp/FreeTube
- baal80spam 4y ago> The link from OP has a bad cert This is really strange, I am certain that when I submitted this (yesterday evening) I didn't get a browser bad cert warning, yet now I do. I have no idea what happened.
- rawgreaze 4y agoBecause unsurprisingly the cert expired on the 12th at 10PM. That's how certificates work.
- hilbert42 4y agoThe app won't install on my 64-bit Windows, it just crashes.
