Are we all going to pretend Twitter's consumer product is not in desperate need of reworking? It's failing hard to users and on the business side. The decision makes sense... This is extremely personal matter, beyond the Elon hate, I can't imagine why anyone would think its a good idea to make a public show about all this. Good luck to him though. Would be awesome if he can prove Twitter (and the world) wrong and not be a one-hit wonder with Periscope. Or, not.. Time will tell.
