I'd love to understand the lifestyle of people who break screens. I'm 44, I've had computers since 1985 and cell phones since 1997, and I've never once dropped a computer or phone or broken a screen in my life. What are people doing!?
- lillecarl 4y agoI've never broken a phone sober. I'm 27. I've now got a fairphone where I can replace everything but the mobo myself with official parts.
- vetinari 4y agoI did break: - original Kindle (once I put it into a bag in the original cover, and the display was broken when put out of the bag. I never found out what caused the display damage); - tablet display (OLED one, ouch, slipped on ceramic tile); - a LCD monitor (the stand was loose, I didn't expect it, gravity did the rest). - I've had a phone slipped out of the hand onto asphalt in the parking lot, but it ended with a bump in the frame (Nexus S, it was age of plastic phones), the display was untouched. So not sure whether it can be explained by lifestyle ;)
