Contabo object storage EU server is down but their status page reports all good
- silviot 4y agoI'm posting this here because it's an incident that greatly eroded my trust towards contabo, and I believe other people could be interested. I signed up to use their object storage in order to test it; today I noticed it's not working. I expected to see this reflected on their status page at their status page [1] but it's not. I wrote to their support 45 minutes ago and got no reply (not even the canned "we received your email" one), and the status page is still unaware of the outage. I understand shit happens, but IMO status pages should tell you when it does. - em10fan 4y agoIn my experience (Fintech), status pages aren't actually hooked up to monitoring systems, they are updated manually. But yeah it sucks that they haven't noticed and updated it.
