According to their FAQ they do not plan to support Linux: http://support.lytro.com/entries/20552347-will-the-lytro-desktop-software-support-linux http://support.lytro.com/entries/20552347-will-the-lytro-des... So my guess is that this will be proprietary and limited to proprietary systems. (Which disappoints me, as I have a preorder code and my credit card ready to buy, but I'm not going to change OSes to use their camera.)
