The less experience and knowledge you had, the less he would respect you. He was actually pretty chill with other smart people, but of course this didn't make him a good human being. I think you did well to stay in the interview. Hell I even would have taken the job if it was offered. I mean if you are desperate for work, you have to just deal with it. You can always stick up for yourself in the mean time.
