I interviewed for a position on HN's "Who's Hiring" thread a few years ago. They asked me to do four different tech screens...but the kicker was, that they were all the same question. During the second one, I mentioned that this seemed a lot like the first one, but, did it anyway, a different way. During the third one, I literally just used the same code/approach I did on the first one. During the fourth one, I refused and said, "Hey, this...isn't for me." and then had two weeks of HR emailing me almost every day asking if I'd reconsider.
