Well that better software in this case was called Delphi :D blistering fast compile times and equivalent runtime performance, just slightly more verbose syntax.

- theamk 4y agoBeen there, did that, nope. I am not going to writing manual destructors again. This is not a desktop app, this is a data processing app with pretty complex algorithms. For example, we actually have to make a decision re scoped_ptr (non-refcounted) vs unique_ptr (refcounted) object, use arena allocators, and so on.
