What a bad article, one sided, oriented, makes it sounds like FIFA is the looser
That's clearly an attempt to manipulate the public opinion
People stopped playing ISS/PES (Konami) because lack of licenses, despite having better gameplay, and bigger player/fan base compared to EA game
EA Football is dead without the licenses
Yet again, poor journalist from The Verge, when they are not promoting and protecting Microsoft over their competitors, they do that kind of US propaganda, the goal, everyone knows it, is to push the Super League in EU, clearly, the US is not happy about EU having that much control over global football
One have to be blind to not see it
- rdsnsca 4y agoAll the FIFA license gave EA was the right to use FIFA brand and World Cup. EA had to licences each team and player separately, so if someone else licences FIFA , they will not be able to use the team or player names.
- Shadonototra 4y agoYou are right, we'll see how things turn out, and if, as a result, they loose more licensing.. or not
