I wish there was an actually good openstreetmap client with some kind of usable review integration. Nothing beats google maps reviews. Also all companies are usually most-up-to date in google maps. But the openstreetmap data, for me it's way ahead of anyone.
- thinkingemote 4y agoApple Maps is an openstreetmap client. They use and contribute lots of data too. They use other data also. and it's hard to know exactly what you are seeing comes from what source. Apple being so secret means they dont really do open data that well.
- rattray 4y agoVery much agree, especially now that Google Maps seems to be monetizing their location listings more (showing sponsored results instead of relevant results in map views, etc).
- pella 4y agoFor OpenStreetMap data I am using the https://organicmaps.app/ https://organicmaps.app/ "Organic Maps is pure and organic, made with love: Respects your privacy ; Saves your battery ; No unexpected mobile data charges" And OpenSource: https://github.com/organicmaps/organicmaps https://github.com/organicmaps/organicmaps But the "usable review integration" is not a solved problem yet.
