Some ancient democracies did similar things. You should read about what the people who lived in them had to say.
- dorfsmay 4y agoThe "citizens", the people who could vote, did pretty well. Not surprisingly, laws were not so good for slaves and other non-citizens, laws were not good for the people who could not vote. Look how favourable our current laws are to politicians!!
