- rapind 15y agoI think you need two lenses to get enough info for 3d. DXG has a cheapy if you just wanted to mess around. http://www.dxgusa.com/products/dxg-3d.html http://www.dxgusa.com/products/dxg-3d.html
- chwahoo 15y ago3d is one of the claimed features of the Lytro: http://blog.lytro.com/news/it-gets-better-lytro-3d-demo/ http://blog.lytro.com/news/it-gets-better-lytro-3d-demo/
- rapind 15y agooh very cool.
- colanderman 15y agoNope, not at all. This is in essence digital holography. (In holography, each "pixel" captures along the 3rd dimension of angle of incidence. The image is reconstructed simply by each pixel reflecting/emanating light as a function of its angle of incidence.)
- rapind 15y agoThanks for making me waste an hour of my time reading about digital holography ;) Pretty cool.
