> This in my mind is the key reason we as a society did not solve the pandemic quickly. Ignoring a lot of the specifics you make a good point. There was a lot of good effort thrown after bad mistakes, financially, medically and unfortunately sacrificing civil liberties. This gamblers fallacy of 2020-2021 is starting to wear off and the hangover is setting in. 2023 is going to hurt :(
