Crypto Is Dead

- trompetenaccoun 4y agoAn increasing frequency of such articles actually signals a good buying opportunity. Look at 2018/19 as the most extreme example.
- cr__ 4y agoYes…unless the value continues to go down. If you’re being deliberately disingenuous to try to keep your scheme going, more power to you, I guess. But if you were being sincere here, please consider the possibility that you’re not financially literate enough to be gambling on this stuff and you’re going to lose your shirt eventually.
- mkr-hn 4y agoGraphs for things that keep going up and graphs for things that crash and die always look the same until that key divergence. "Past performance is no guarantee of future results" is a standard warning in real investments for a reason.
- Finnucane 4y agoWhere's the next round of greater fools coming from?
- rvz 4y agoYawn. Quite unsurprising [0]. But we're still waiting 13 years, for all of it to completely die and go away forever. Maybe is that why Meta [1], Stripe [2], Signal [3] and others [4], [5] are still using them? This is just another wiping out of the speculators and the crypto maximalists again. Sorry, but it's going to take more than that to 'get rid of it all'. - moistly 4y agoI read today that 40% of crypto “investors” (aka gamblers) are underwater now. Edit: LOL. Downvoted. Here’s the news item, bro. Try to cope! https://www.cnbc.com/2022/05/09/40percent-of-bitcoin-investors-underwater-glassnode-data.html https://www.cnbc.com/2022/05/09/40percent-of-bitcoin-investo...
- leach 4y agoIf I had a btc for every time I heard crypto is dead i'd be a very rich man.
- strikelaserclaw 4y agowell it depends on when the next bull run is going to be, these crypto coin are driven by speculation you can't deny that even if you don't think they will die.
- mmarq 4y agoIt’s funny that he wanted to say something everybody knows about bitcoins, but, writing for the Spectator, he had to say something stupid about Macron and about Brexit.

- ea550ff70a 4y agoAh yes the "crypto is dead" take again. It has been "dying" since 2013 and it always come back stronger and crazier than ever. This wipeout is good to get rid off all the shit projects out there. The stronger will survive as usual.
