The bombsight eye: envisioning nuclear war
- PaulHoule 4y agoThe circles in the finger lakes was https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seneca_Army_Depot https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seneca_Army_Depot which used to store a huge amount of nuclear weapons. It was closed in the late 1990s and one Saturday morning I saw a huge convoy of military vehicles roll through Ithaca that was leaving the base. I have no idea if the nuclear weapons were there or if they were just driving the rest of their stuff someplace else.
