Wow. I just kayak’d this lake with my partner and her family 3 days ago. The white coloration of the bottom 30 feet or so contrasted with the red tops show just how much the lake has fallen. My partner’s parents said that they were on the lake about 20 years ago, and their reaction to how much it had fallen was very visceral. I’m very glad something is being done to help the lake. Also, go see it if you get the chance. It’s very beautiful.
