- conqueso 4y agoI think it's a perfect descriptor - makes me picture an acre of land (footprint) with a height of 1 ft
- macksd 4y agoI've mostly heard it used by farmers. And it makes sense if you're thinking of the equivalent rainfall measured in inches on a property measured in acres.
