In Britain we have Barry Boys whose elaborate mating ritual involves sawing the exhaust pipe off a car and pimping it up with whacky suspension, alloy wheels, LED lights and spoilers (aerofoils). It's a pretty harmless hobby, and quite a geeky thing to get into of you are down with reprogramming car ECUs and building ridiculous overpowered ICE for your doof-mobile. Sadly though, it's become cool to see who can be the most anti-social twat ripping down the street at 1am. So they kinda invited this heat on themselves.
