Study: Immigrants in the U.S. are more likely to start firms, create jobs
- pketh 4y agoMy experiences with the immigration process lead me to believe that immigration policy is more about maintaining status quo systematic-racism for political reasons, than it is about economics
- netizen-936824 4y agoNO gasp
- passivate 4y agoCan you expand on that? What has it to do with racism?
- pope_meat 4y agoNo, you gotta bring in the riff raff from else where because the spoiled homegrown corn fed piggies aren't breeding fast enough to maintain the economic ponzi scheme of eternal economic growth that requires more people tomorrow to pay for the debts of today.
- netizen-936824 4y agoYea that's why you make abortion and contraceptives illegal. Problem solved, no need for those brown people to boost our numbers!
- anamax 4y agoAre immigrants fungible wrt "start firms, create jobs"?
- zaptheimpaler 4y agoLaughs in H1B tied to employer and role, 50-year green card wait for India/China and uniformly rude CBP officers. Immigrants everywhere are more likely to do these things, might as well go somewhere you're actually wanted.
