I think it might be reasonable to start taking into consideration cutting off the international SIP trunk lines connecting India and the US. Or at the very least, blocking by default and making them opt-in for US subscribers. Out of hundreds of inbound calls I’ve received from Indians, NONE have been done conducted in good faith and ALL have been unsolicited.
- josephcsible 4y agoDon't the scammers buy phone numbers that supposedly terminate in the US and then tunnel them back to their own country?
- unknownaccount 4y agoNo need, the way the phone system works enables any call call center to spoof any number.
