I wonder if it has any cranial effect at adult age.
But even if there was a cranial volume increase at adult age, I doubt the space would fill with neurons since adult neurogenesis is very location specific. I know synaptotrophics exists and are very potent (magnesium l threonate, etifoxine) but it's unclear to me wether the outer pzrt of the brain can have synapses and benefit from those, it might be intra and not outer brain space is too dense, synapse saturated or not. Hard to Google.
There exist many hypermnesics and so called neurotrophics, such as Dihexa, prl, etc
However for them to induce neurogenesis in adult necessitate the presence of stem cells or progenitor cells. (I've heard glial astrocytes can differentiate into neurons though). So the question is wether in adults the outer brain part contains those. Moreover it would likely not result in a resizing of the brain regions, only the outer part would expand.. Contrary as if it was administrated in teenage years.
The human outer brain has wrinkled (although i heard there existed a human with a smooth brain).
It increase volume in a possibly fractal like manner and i have read that the wrinkled are constituted mostly of stem cells but I can't find a source yet for this claim.
