“amateur” programmer once used 50 sheets of 1080Ti to fight cancer
- tgsovlerkhgsel 4y agoWhat's a "sheet" of 1080Ti?
- soneil 4y agoI suspect "card" has been poorly translated (eg, as a material instead of as an item)
- emarthinsen 4y agoInteresting article. The author might want to consider monetizing it with a few ads.
- teruakohatu 4y agoIt is an interesting article. The "50 sheets" is a bad translation. They mean 50 GPUs. The person who submitted, coolwulf, is I think the subject of the article. Maybe coolwulf can comment on if this research is now a full time job? Where did the initial funding for 50 GPUs come from?
- spacemanmatt 4y agoIs there a readable version of this article?

- coolwulf 4y agoDear all, I'm sincerely sorry for the poor article I submitted. The article was written by a news agency in China and they probably did a machine translation into English hence the poor article. Here is the original Chinese version of the article: https://www.cnbeta.com/articles/tech/1266309.htm https://www.cnbeta.com/articles/tech/1266309.htm
