Every social media platform can be weaponized and no platform is immune from that. Yes, TikTok is essentially Chinese malware, so just don't install it then. If I want to watch TikTok videos, I go to Youtube and search for 'Best TikToks 2022'. People regularly leak TikTok videos onto other more safer platforms.
