I've made over 700% return while developing my stock market algorithm
- shisisms 4y agoUsual challenge, if so great why sell it for $x p/mth as opposed to generating your own return, especially at these levels of compounding?
- jleyank 4y agoWe had the same line in the Pharma viz decades ago…. If you can predict active compounds consistently with your software, you don’t sell the software you license the compounds.
- Grimburger 4y agoThe usual answer is that it doesn't scale and this is more profitable.
- smcn 4y ago> Truthfully, I would release Feetr for free because I believe that it can help people in an economy which is becoming harder and harder to exist in. Not only has investing in Feetr allowed me to quit my job but a few of my beta testers have been able to make more than their monthly salary. > It's not free because I believe it to be morally wrong for me to be able to invest in Feetr stocks as I have early access to, and total control over, the data. And it's not released as a self hosted service because it would cost at least as much to host, and this way everyone gets the same updates and nobody needs to worry about server management/security. This was my comment when asked on IndieHackers. And I have used Feetr investing in order to generate the income to quit my job and develop it full time.
- airbreather 4y agoHe is selling subscriptions $8.99 a month, to a one trick pony that tips you off half hour before opening. It seems to be an abstracted form of pump and dump, that may look better than it is/would have, due to herd mentality creating a self fulfilling prophecy. Bet you he is buying pick of the day, the day before...
- smcn 4y agoOne trick so far, but it's a good trick. More tricks are coming. Right now I'm using it to fund its own development but when it launches, I take all of my money out of stocks and put it into Bitcoin. This is a partial quote from the comments on IH: > It's not free because I believe it to be morally wrong for me to be able to invest in Feetr stocks as I have early access to, and total control over, the data.
