I took a Blockchain course at university (Masters CS level). I really liked how honest the teaching chair was: They just taught us the raw material along with this xkcd: https://xkcd.com/2267/ https://xkcd.com/2267/ Don't get me wrong, I actually like the Blockchain Technology but I kind of have to agree with the notion that most of the "advanced" Crypto stuff is still looking for an actual problem to solve, except for Bitcoin and some of the other OG coins, the purpose of which I kind of sympathize with.
