But maybe I finally got it after all these years. It's not about the software or the playable game. It's about storytelling. That's what the whales are addicted to. It's "VXJunkies", but with big bucks. I don't blame them. I also find it fascinating to watch and read about the latest technical details about some specific tech that they came up with. S42 and PU will never happen. But what might happen is, that some of the employees take all that knowledge and skill they've been gathering all these years in CI. They will setup a new indie game studio and will release something actually viable and playable. Maybe a new "No Man's Sky" with a cool tech stack.
