Hiring has picked up these days, and this is the time to get in. Get a job you reasonably like, keep your head down and build a positive track record. If the job is shitty, don't just get fired; act like an adult and keep them happy while looking for a new one. It is much easier to get a job when you already have one.

- dholowiski 15y agoI second that. There's something to be said working a shitty job doing things you don't like to do and keeping your mouth shut (speaking as someone who's been there, done that). When you finally get the job that you love, you'll love it even more.
