In other words it’s all about upholding religious prejudices, which, while harmful to society, benefit certain people. It’s no different from sharia law. (Except even sharia law doesn’t condone this particular stupidity.)

- trasz 5y agoIt is stupidity. You will find incredible intelligent people behind every fringe theory; it’s just they aren’t particularly smart about this particular area. There is a lot of examples, from Jordan Peterson to Aquinas.
