I also use electric. Bought a very cheap one in college and now a decade later only now needed to replace it because the battery stopped holding a charge and had to keep it plugged in while using it. About annually I would put a drop of oil on it and that’s all. Now I recently purchased a very expensive version (comparatively) and it does the same job.
