I just released https://github.com/SMerrony/daikin2mqtt https://github.com/SMerrony/daikin2mqtt which has been entirely rewritten in Ada. It provides a way of using some Daikin HVAC units in home automation software that doesn't have an explicit 'integration' for such devices, or directly with a dashboard like Node-Red.
