Who uses single quotes for this purposes? Why wouldn't you use double quotes?
- bidirectional 4y agoSingle quotes are more popular in British English.
- cafard 4y agoThe British convention used to be to use single quotes for the outermost level, then double inside. But I see that the main article follows the American practice of double quotes outside. So I don't know.
