Why Elon Musk got bullied in high school

- ordu 4y ago> it’s particularly difficult to reconcile this information with the man that Musk has now become. This difficulty I believe stems from the narrow perspective that had taken. If we try to generalize Musk's position, to think not of a skin color but of something else, then we can see that he tried to oppose the status quo. He is doing it now. The part "with no personal benefit" can be interpreted in two ways: either Musk become wiser and saw that one can oppose and have all the benefits, or he is now seeks benefits not for personal gain but as a tools to oppose the status quo even more. I'm just speculating here without any real data to rely on, but my point that it is not difficult to reconcile Musk's past and present. He is bullied by SEC, and he seem to invite it by his own actions. Just like in his teens. Why he is doing it is a hard question. To pick a specific interpretation is a hard task. But it is due to countless possibilities not because there are no interpretations possible.

- ordu 4y agoThe word "bullied" in that context was picked by me, not by Musk. So this particular choice tells you something about me, not about Musk.
- I_DRINK_KOOLAID 4y agoHe doesn't need to say anything. Everybody who has basic social reading skills and street smarts can clearly see his contempt for institutions and generally any person who doesn't proclaim their unconditional loyalty to him.
