Not my area of expertise, but wouldn't most compiler books have chapters on generics work for general languages? You could use that to reason on how Java generics work.
- PaulHoule 4y agoThat's not a bad idea but in the case of Java you have the source code for the compiler and you can just look at that. (e.g. different generic systems are possible, I want to learn how to make the most of this one.)
