Great, this saves me that agonizing click on whatismyip.com.
- hboon 15y agohttp://jsonip.com/ http://jsonip.com/ is good too, but http://whatismyip.org http://whatismyip.org is even better because you can just select all and copy right away.

- flexd 15y agojsonip and whatismyip tells me the the IPv4 address though. Google is giving me my IPv6 address! Would be cool to get both somehow.
- hieronymusN 15y agoTo force the IPv6 IP on Google - http://ipv6.google.com/search?q=what+is+my+ip http://ipv6.google.com/search?q=what+is+my+ip
- flexd 15y agoIt's telling me regardless, It's not telling me the IPv4 address.
- TeHCrAzY 15y agoInternode in Australia defaults to IPV6 for Google. Your isp may do the same?
- hieronymusN 15y agoI have IPv6 and IPv4 through my ISP (TimeWarner) - but I have to explicitly tell Google that I want an IPv6 connection with the subdomain.
- clu3 15y agoYeah, and I think google has just accidentally "killed" whatismyip.com . Not totally but I'm pretty sure the site's traffic will decrease significantly

- seppo0010 15y ago$ curl ifconfig.me Or just http://ifconfig.me/ http://ifconfig.me/
- icebraining 15y agoI like http://icanhazip.com http://icanhazip.com Great for scripts too.
- devicenull 15y agoThere's always http://checkip.dyndns.org http://checkip.dyndns.org , which has a lot lower chance of just being suddenly removed for whatever reason.
