Hrm, US government seems to be saying "Hey! Look over there!" Surely it's not rising inequality, inaction on climate, stagnating wages, less security in work, out of control cost of living, the constant warmongering, the dogged commitment to the imperial system, lack of universal healthcare or any of that. It's social media! (Or maybe it's that kids in the US can see the universal healthcare in other countries and that's what's making them depressed?)
