- dazc 5y agoI think you've over reached here. 'regular people I see on the street' is a general term and shouldn't be taken too literally. Inter-ethnic relationships in England and Wales rose by two percentage points between 2001 and 2011 (7% in 2001 to 9% in 2011). Ten years later, I expect the figure to be much higher but nowhere near as portrayed on TV.
