I saw him speak about reiserfs at FOSDEM once, before the murder. That was the only time I ever left a talk in the middle of it because it was entirely clear the speaker was insane.
I really don't remember the details, but he went off in a metaphysical direction, personal philisophies and such, and it was just gibberish. Really not what you're looking for in a technical talk about a filesystem.
