I identify with globular-toast's self-description and experiences, but often erred in relationships (both personal and professional) in the opposite way as well, that is, by over-accommodating and failing to see the end had long passed. Finding the balance of im/patience, but not too much, with both others and myself, has been a permanent project, with many and increasing successes.
