This 'rater' gets paid $10 an hour to teach Google's algorithm
- asimpleusecase 4y agoThe story is about worker who rates search results, for $10 an hour, at a company that contracts to Goggle. A few paragraphs in we find he is a union organiser . Point is made Goggle promised to pay “extended” workers $15 an hour. So does anyone who touches anything related to Google get $15 a hour? I wonder if Google pays a contractor enough to cover $15 a hour but company pockets that an pays $10 if either has violated any laws?
