Corona vaccination: half a million cases with serious side effects (German)
- calebm 4y agoSo almost 1% serious side effects from the vaccine? "According to the study, eight out of 1000 vaccinated people are struggling with serious side effects. "Serious side effects" are therefore symptoms that last for weeks or months and require medical treatment. Specifically, these include, among other things, heart muscle inflammation, excessive reactions of the immune system or neurological disorders, i.e. impairments of the nervous system."
- Aachen 4y agoLess than a percent of people, similar to other countries (the article says). The complaint is that a much lower number is communicated by Paul because it's often not clearly causal enough to report as an effect of the vaccine, and so it goes unregistered. I find it odd that the article reports that people feel not taken seriously. When you have something like a heart muscle inflammation (an example mentioned by the article), who cares what the cause is, you're not gonna be sent home if you say it's due to the vaccine or due to aliens, your issue is going to be treated right? At least that's what I'd expect from my limited experience with the German healthcare system. I did expect to find more than nothing about this on Wikipedia though, that's what I often used as probably true into during covid. It mentions allergic reactions and that side effects are mostly gone after a few days, but nothing about figures on long-term inflammation. A "1 in 1000" side effect is mentioned but it sounds like something immediate and not something lasting for months. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pfizer%E2%80%93BioNTech_COVID-19_vaccine#Adverse_effects https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pfizer%E2%80%93BioNTech_COVID-... (most people here had the luxury of receiving biontech afaik).
- mistrial9 4y agocardiac stress is a leading cause of death and serious injury among adults. Inflammation of the heart muscle is not a minor thing! The article says (as best as I can read it) that these are side-effects lasting more than 4-6 weeks. There is an information blackout about negative side-effects of vax, and also some heavy-handed enforcement-type situations. I believe this is newsworthy in the USA and elsewhere.
- yucky 4y ago>There is an information blackout about negative side-effects of vax It's for your own good, citizen.
- Aachen 4y ago> Inflammation of the heart muscle is not a minor thing! I said this where?
- Aachen 4y agoAh yes, the good old downvote without comment. I re-read my first comment earlier but still have no idea what this is about, so I guess I'll make the mistake again next time. Thanks, cu next time!
- TrispusAttucks 4y agoIf only some doctors had raised concern. Oh they did and got banned, censored, and cancelled. Welcome to the information wars. You're the weapon.
- mountainriver 4y agoExactly, the whole thing around joe rogan lately was insane. Had a highly cited researcher on his podcast, who is cited twice in the vaccine paper, and just wanted to hear what he had to say. The censorship crowd is looking increasingly tyrannical
- TrispusAttucks 4y agoAuthoritarianism is on the March! America will have fully adopted the China model in a few years. I miss the old American internet and the freedom mindset of it's netizens. The new Internet is becoming a lost cause. Time for a new network.
- ohiovr 4y agoThere is nothing mechanically wrong with the network we have now. If it were not for the fact that most people have no principles at all, are afraid to speak out against obvious ills in the systems, and when they do get mercilessly shut down, it'd be fine as is. The signs of the times say its going to get a whole lot worse before it ever gets better.
- breadbreadbread 4y agowhich doctors Alex Jones?
- TrispusAttucks 4y agoNo. Revisite this in a few months. Or better yet today. https://apnews.com/article/covid-science-business-health-11b4f26de57da9b1b62669c1b2394ab3 https://apnews.com/article/covid-science-business-health-11b...
