  Indefinitely, not endlessly. You cannot predict the date when your project is going to be sunsetted: it may be in 6 month, or may be well past your retirement.

    I think GP was thinking more of https://killedbygoogle.com/ https://killedbygoogle.com/, Google is somewhat infamous for killing off well-liked projects if they are not successful enough.
