- johng 5y agoHOAs have become big business and a profit center where the companies have incentives to fine people. This needs fixing.
- smt88 5y agoHOAs are awful for many reasons, but this isn't one of them. HOAs generally don't pay their board members. If they had a profit, they would have to either keep it in the bank, spend it on services, or reduce fees for homeowners. They have elections and rules of transparency.
