I figure NFTs are an attempt to materialize cryptocurrency so that it does trickle into the rest of the economy. >I’d imagine there is a whole lot of institutional money fooling around with similar projects. If it's your trashcoin/NFT/whatever, you're at the top of the pyramid no matter what. There's no downside in convincing people to contribute cold hard cash to your new soared-coin.
