Non-trivial graphs will make it produce hard-to-read output, and you can try fiddling with it forever to get better output. But it's still the first thing I reach for when I have to make a graph.

- vinodkd 4y agoAgree. And after years of using it, I discovered osage, and after a few years more, gvpr. It gives and it gives. And yes, I'm forever fiddling with it to make it look the way i want it to, but in my heart I know the layout algorithms now better :)
