- raxxorraxor 4y agoAgree with the gist of the text. Bad arguments like those from DiResta make me defend Alex Jones and I don't appreciate that too much. The proposal to ban him is shortsighted, ahistorical and naive. If you want a legal handle against Alex Jones you might want to look at the scams he involved people in. I don't know any specifics here as I don't consume his content, but I would not be surprised that you maybe could find fraud. There were books with criticism over what continuing commercialization would do to free expression online. What the fight for clicks would do for polarization. Instead we have to hear badly argued dribble.
