the idea that there are "normal" people and then the "nerds" with their computers is the reason why your intel is in decline, it goes along with many other systemic problems in the west
- krapp 4y agoThat headline was written by a Wired editor, it was not an official quote from the US Department of Defense. I seriously doubt something so trivial indicates anything meaningful about tech recruiting by the government (at least in comparison with other factors) given the number of self-described "nerds" and "hackers" out there, much less some "systemic problem" about the west.
